It's was a great day when the league of press polled a man of honor and true significance, Honourable to be, the great person Striving for the Position of Ward 14 Oyan Councillor, MR. AJIBOSO AKINKUNMI DAVID aka Kukumba.

CAN WE MEET YOU SIR?

My name is AJIBOSO DAVID AKINKUNMI, happily married and blessed with two children and still hoping for more from God.

WE HEARD THAT YOU ARE CONTESTING FOR THE POST OF A COUNCILLOR, CAN YOU TELL US MORE ON THIS?

Yes, I am contesting for the post of Councillor under my great party ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC), Ward 14 (Oloyan, Esa, Elemoso) and to be candid, it's a task ahead of which I have been seeking God Help for me to accomplish the task. I believe a saying that WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

WHAT MAKE U THINK THAT YOU ARE READY FOR THE POSITION?

Thank you for this question. Since my earlier stage in life, I have been trying to help the less privilegde, in fact I love helping people, especially, my Jerusalem I mean Oyan City. I will like to butress my point.

1. I was born here in Oyan city, schoolled in Oyan city, live in Oyan city, my business in Oyan city, My family in Oyan city, my entire life is Oyan city. I had the chance of leaving at Lagos, Abuja but I refused to simply because I am Destined to do great things in Oyan city.

2. After my secondary school days, I further my Education at Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State. And at Offa, I was elected the NATIONAL PRESIDENT OF FOAASU BOTH HOME AND ABROAD (FEDERATION OF OYAN, ASI AND ASABA STUDENTS UNION), same year, I was also Elected as the PRESIDENT of best ever selfless service club in the world, ROTARACT CLUB OF FEDPOFFA, after that service year, I was elected the President of the same Rotaract club of Oyan city. It was this same club that further trained me on rendering selfless services to humanity. Then, I could remember vividly that we executed projects every months with our money. At times,

people assisted us. I later served as the NATIONAL PRESIDENT OF OYAN CITY YOUTH FORUM where we executed many projects of which many Oyan indigenes were witness. I just love serving people even before I joined politics.

3. My full time POLITICAL CAREER started as far back 2003 when BABA BISI AKANDE was going for second term then under the platform of AD. I was a witness during a political war at Osun then when PDP were chasing and arresting our member. I had to travelled because of the massacre that took over the town then.

I played a great role during Aregbesola election and reelection where I served as the WARD 14 DOOR TO DOOR CAMPIAGN COORDINATOR. I have been serving and still serving and I will continue to serve my people of Oyan city.

4. Furthermore, I contested for the post of MEMBER OF OSUN STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY, of which our great party settled it out peacefully and amicably before my capable and honorable brother HON MIKE ADETOYI was graciously chosen and was Elected. Praise God, hallelujah.

In addition, I have contributed a lot financially and i will continue to contribute no matter what to the development of the city of which Oyan Parapo are living witnesses, Oyan City youths are living witnesses, and of course, Religion leaders at Oyan city are living witnesses.

CAN YOU TELL US FEW OF WHAT YOU HAVE IN MIND FOR YOUR PEOPLE?

YES, YES, AND YES, I will put my people first, and also I was trained to execute monthly projects. In short, I will be executing a quarterly projects, people oriented projects, by the Grace of God, we will train and empower our people, farmers will be assisted by providing some inputs for them, assisting them with soft loan/grants, our mothers at different cassava flour Factory will be assisted as well, students will also be assisted and many more. The party at the ward level will benefit much and so many more. SO HELP ME GOD. AMEN.
